A completely original 1901 S key date barber quarter graded G 4 by PCGS that is accompanied with a CAC sticker. This key date coin is by far the toughest to obtain for the entire barber quarter series. It has been housed in an old time PCGS Green Label Holder! This coin is what we would call "The Poster Child" for what any G-4 certified barber quarter should look like. Just a perfect coin for the grade that is entirely original.
This key date coin has a small mintage of only 72,664. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 169 graded Good 4 by PCGS. It is also one of only 28 approved by CAC for quality in this grade.
