    We are offering a
    RARE
    1904 St. Louis Exhibition Catalogue of Machinery.  For Ginning, Opening, Carding, Combing, Preparing, and Spinning Cotton.  8 1/2" x 11".  63 pages.  This machinery was exhibited at the World's Fair by Platt Brothers & Co. Limited, Hartford Iron Works, Oldham, England.
    Platt Brothers & Co., manufacturers of textile machinery, was founded in the early part of the 19th century.  The company received dozens of awards and medals from 1851 through 1900.  They were the forefront of technological innovation in the cotton-processing industry, and by 1879 they were the largest maker of cotton-processing machinery in the world.
    CONDITION: Pages are, for the most part, in Very Good Condition for their age, with a little staining on the bottom of some of the pages and a little edge-tearing on a couple of pages.  Covers show staining; and front cover has some edge tearing that has been repaired with acid-free archival tape.  Also the spine has been repaired with acid-free archival tape.
