    Description

    You are bidding on a 1907 Barber/Liberty Head Quarter, they were minted from 1892 to 1916 (24 years)
    The designer was Charles E. Barber.  His initial B can be located at the truncation of Liberty's Neck.
    The coin weighs 6.25 grams with a composition of .900 Silver and .100 Copper.  Silver is currently selling as bullion in the high teens to the low 's, per Ounce.  (There are 28 grams in an ounce.)
    The mintage of this coin is New Orleans mint coin of 4,560,000
    There are Two Varieties of the this  Reverse. I.  The eagles wing covers only half of the E in United States and on Variety II the Eagles wing covers most of the E.  Coins of the first variety reverse are somewhat scarcer than those of the 2nd variety.
