    Description

    I've seen quite a few undergraded coin's in these old holder's but this is unquestionably one of the most unique ones I've seen! The MPD is even more clear than on the 1908-D and the 1908-O! You can see the 8 clearly in the denticals under a scope. Neither NGC or PCGS has considered the Philadelphia issue to have the same error so none have been certified. This was graded long ago and has the error attributed on the holder! Also the coin is no where near AU-50 the obverse could be AU-58? The reverse looks gem MS witch makes that even questionable.. Just it being 8-15 grades off and a MPD that thats strongly there and not considered makes it one of a kind!
