A tough 1913 S key date Barber Quarter graded F-15 by PCGS. This coin has a fully readable liberty on the obverse with very strong reverse detail. We sent this coin only once into PCGS for certification and believe it looks as nice as other certified VF-20 grades on the market. A very detailed coin that is seldom offered in this grade range. In all of our years in the business we believe this to be the highest grade 1913 S Barber Quarter we have offered. This key date is most offered in the good to very good range.
This key date coin holds the lowest mintage of the series of only 40,000. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,500 of these have survived in all grades today. It is one of just 20 graded Fine 15 by PCGS. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
