1913-S Barber quarter, authenticated / graded / encapsulated by ANACS as Good, G4.  We are pleased to offer this key date of the Barber quarter series, in typically circulated condition as many in the public of the time earned and spent Barber coins, and few saved them in those years before the spread of the coin collecting hobby that would happen later in the 20th century.  This quarter was a good part of a day's labor in many jobs in those days.  Once acquired, we could discern that this was a consignment from a collection that has not been seen in public in decades, as it is ANACS certified but in their early-generation, smaller holder.  How mysterious!  If resubmitted somewhere among the top four 3rd-party graders, it might well upgrade as befits past-present trends...though if you have one of those new "Lowball" collections, maybe you like it at G4!  The chance came to acquire this, and we offer it to you to fill what may be one of the final vacancies in your Barber quarter collection!
