Vintage 1899 Barber silver quarter - the last struck by the Philadelphia Mint in the 19th century! Designed by Charles E. Barber, the obverse features Liberty in a Phrygian cap and laurel wreath. The patriotic reverse displays a heraldic eagle.
Barber quarters are highly prized for their age, beauty, and scarcity - as well as their 90% silver content. Over the years, many were lost to silver melts. And with the popularity of the Statehood quarter series, they've grown even harder to find.
You can be assured all items are of quality, and as stated in the listing. Measurements are approximate.
The house is free of pet and smoke smell.
