" religious pocket case is titled in gold gilt "JHS For God & Country" along with an American Shield. The outside show a lot of age wear.
The inside has two attached medals, St. Christopher and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, both marked "France" and in excellent condition.  Below them it reads "St. Josephs Society  New Ulm, Minn.".
The little inner pocket holds a miniature prayerbook. The title page reads "The Miniature Prayer-Book of Catholic Devotions" by The Regina Press. The imprimatur and copyright dates are 1929. The book has gold gilt edges and is in excellent condition.
