    THE TREASURE OF RABÍN
    Episode 8
But the advantage that the boat had over the canoe was great so that on a journey as short as from Barcelona to Valencia, Rabín could overtake Kaifas. Rabín, once in Valencia, desperate to find his treasure, has the big surprise: Kaitas is there, but he is not stupid, he has seen Rabín and runs away, followed by our furious friend.
Card is 2.75” x 4”. Early 1930s set issued by "Celso Lopez Vinos" of Logrono Spain. The story is about Mickey Mouse guarding a safe with a gun only to fall asleep, allowing Rabin to loot it. Mickey gives chase by bicycle, boat, foot, train and by plane before parachuting after Rabin. They eventually land in Russia, where the chase continues on sleighs, allowing Rabin to escape to Japan and then India (where Rabin rides an alligator) and Africa before Rabin catches a hot air balloon into space, where Mickey captures him and reclaims his prized chocolate (and revealing the contents of his safe from the start of the story). The art is signed by “Ruiz."
