    Description

From a local estate you are bidding on two Ford toy cars from the 1935 San Diego Exposition at the Firestone exhibit. Ford and Firestone had an exclusive relationship for many years and shared an exhibit building in 1935 (now the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park). It is my understanding that these cars were actually made onsite and were meant to advertise both Ford and Firestone. The decal on the top of each car says they were "Made at Firestone exhibit". The Ford logo appears embossed under the front bumper of both and both have an experienced decal on their tops; see the photo.
You are bidding for the pair, one red and one blue. Both are showing their age and have some deterioration of the white rubber wheels and nicks and dings and flaking paint. The red one has the corner of the left front bumper missing and has been "pinstriped" along what would be the seams of the body and the grille and the edge of the running boards in white paint.
Please examine the photos closely as they tell the story better than I can.
Sold without reserve and no refunds as-is. They will be shipped for free in the U.S. I will not ship offshore so please do not ask. Sales tax as required.
