    Up for auction is this Collectible Pie Bird Vent
    Blue Songbird
    by American Pottery Company
    This vintage pie bird measures 4 ½” tall and was made from 1940 - 1950.  This songbird was available in three colors -- blue was first to be made and two other colors were introduced later – rose/pink and cinnamon/brown.  There is a teeny fleck to the tip of the beak; hardly noticeable to the eye.  It has all over crazing.
