This amplifier is incredibly clean and in excellent playing condition.
It comes with the original Jensen C12R speaker and the original foot switch.
This was completely serviced one year ago with a new grounded power cord, F&T filter capacitors,
and new Tung-Sol Tubes. The rectifier tube is a new Electro Harmonix.
The amp sounds great and the tremelo is as good or better than comparable Fender models.
A lot of Jazz artists like Tal Farlow favor Gibson amps for the clean headroom, but this amp also sounds great when overdriven. At 10, the amp has a sweet singing quality and is slightly cleaner than the more aggressive Fender amps. Freddie King used to use cranked Gibson amps to get that vintage blues tone in the early days of his career. Other artists who have used Gibson amps at some point are George Harrison (The Beatles), Dan Auerback (The Black Keys), Bill Frisell, and Ariel Posen (The Brothers Landreth).
    This is one sweet amplifier!
