    Description

1967 Ampeg Gemini VI GS-15-R Guitar Combo Amplifier Amp w/ Dolly & Footswitch
Welcome! Right now, you are looking at an incredible amplifier.
This is the vintage 1967 Ampeg Gemini VI GS15R guitar amp.
30W, including its original 15" Jensen speaker.
It includes its original dolly and footswitch as well.
The serial number is 053843 dating this amplifier to 1967.
It's in great overall condition, especially considering its age, as you can see from the photos.
Very little marks/scuffs, and some tolex tear. Please see all photos for a better visual description.
Manufactured in their Linden factory in NJ, the Gemini VI GS15R was a continued evolution in the Gemini series.
30W worth of gorgeous all tube tone.
The layout is simple - Volume, Treble, and Bass with controls for Reverb, Speed, & Intensity.
Initially designed for use with accordion or guitar, the cleans here are absolutely gorgeous - warm, and big with just the perfect amount or crisp highs when dialed in.
The Treble control push/pulls to provide an extra treble boost!
Being a 30 watt amp, you can push the tubes here for glorious tube sustain at a relatively low volume.
The power section features two 7591 tubes, and the preamp features a 7199, 6CG7 and two 12AX7s.
As you know with vintage Ampeg, it's all about the reverb and tremolo.
The true spring reverb adds incredible depth to chords and great tails to leads.
The tremolo is warm and tight.
Both reverb/tremolo are accessible via the included original footswitch.
All of this awesome tube goodness runs to the 15" original Jensen!
Don't miss the opportunity to get your hands on a true piece of Ampeg history!
    Thanks for looking.
