Lincoln Gold and Coin is happy to offer this token from the 1984 California Midwinter Exposition. It depicts a modified version of the California state seal on the obverse and the words "THE LAND OF SUNSHINE FRUIT AND FLOWERS - SOUVENIR - CALIFORNIA MIDWINTER EXPOSITION SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA - 1894" on the reverse.
This medal is roughly 33mm in diameter and made of brass, weighing approximately 17.1 grams. It is listed in Hibler & Kappen's So-Called Dollars book under reference number HK-245 and is the "type 1" variety. It is in good condition given its age, with some discoloration and dings in the edge of the rim, but the details of the design are nicely preserved and the lettering is crisp and legible.
