    Description
From Col. Jack Novak's estate (West Point Class Of 1943), a nice pair of  barber quarters
that he brought back from England after the war in tobacco or tea metal tins. He would exchange them with English shopkeepers who were "stuck" with them - couldn't easily  exchange them for British coins. Newly minted Lt. Novak was assigned to Gen. Eisenhower's staff in England as a transport pilot (under Gen. Smith) - an interesting momento of the war, perhaps - see condition above. Jack lived here in Alexandria most of his life, my old employees remember him well.  Still unsure (?), see my feedback. Free fully insured shipping to the USA.
