You are bidding on a Pelican Pie Bird Vent.
Made in Australia by Roo Pottery – it was submitted as a souvenir for the 2000 Australian Olympics, but not accepted by the committee...that is why it says The "Ring-in" on the bottom. A limited number of these were made. The base is in the shape of Australia and is marked “Roo” on the top.
It is numbered 21 and stamped, The “Ring-In’ on the bottom.
The Pelican has the 5 Olympic Rings around his mouth. It measures 4 ¾” tall with no chips or cracks.
You can find a similar one pictured in Linda Fields book, "Four & Twenty Blackbirds" volume 2, page 164.
