In 2019, to celebrate Great Engravers of the United Kingdom, the Royal Mint released a special Limited Issue Collection starting with William Wyon Una and the Lion £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid Fine .999 Silver weighing two ounces of pure Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike.
The reverse designed by William Wyon features a remastered design of Una and the Lion widely considered one of the world's most beautiful designs with the Latin motto ‘DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS’ which translates to “May the Lord direct my steps” while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
