925 Sterling Silver Our Lady Grace Miraculous Virgin Mary Medal Pendent (1030b)

This is a vintage, sterling silver Miraculous Medal, Our Lady of Graces, pendent.
Please note the outside rim of the medal. They wrapped a band of silver around the entire charm in order to have a loop at the top for a neck chain. It's hard to tell if the original loop broke off and this was a quick fix, or if it never had a loop and the silver band around it permitted it to be a necklace. My guess is it was a repair, (see pics).
Sterling silver is 92.5% silver. The weight is 7.5 grams, measurements are 1 1/2 inches by 13/16 inches. There is no chain.
