I am pleased to offer this Antique 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle Paris Mint Currency Souvnier Bronze Medal!
This beautiful souvenir medal has a depiction of minters casting coins on the obverse side, and reads: "•Ære•Argento•Auro•Flando•Feriundo•" across the top edge and is signed by the artist A.Patey.
The reverse reads "Monnaie De Paris 1900" around the Mint Building.
The edge of the coin has raised stars, and reads "Souvenir De L'Exposition" "Bronze" and what appears to be the cornucopia edge mark.
Measures approx. 37mm Diameter x 3mm Thick
Condition:
mild scratching and some spots of patina to the bronze on both sides and edge. There are also a few small nicks to the edge. The medal remains absolutely stunning for display!
