Description
Antique silk scarf for the Jamestown 1907 Exposition celebrating the ter centennial at Hampton Roads. I have read there was an incredible Naval display there, called the Great White Fleet. Captain John Smith is the picture in the center. He played an important role in establishing this first permanent colony in Virginia. This scarf was made of bone colored silk and is trimmed with pink paisleys. The size of the scarf that you can see is 16” x 16 1/2”. It is framed with a modern wood frame.
