DESCRIPTION
Antique brass International Expo medal. Dating to 1910 this medal was originally gold gilt which was presented for the Cortege event in Brussels, Belgium. The front depicts a naked man holding four horses by the reins with a rising sun filling the background and the artists name. The reverse depicts writing of what the event was. A beautifully designed medal by the famous Belgian sculptor Marcel Wolf (1886-1976)who is famous for his interwar memorial designs throughout Belgium.

MEASUREMENTS
Medal measures 2.25" in diameter by 9.5" tall with the ribbon and weighs 2.6oz.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear commensurate with age and loss of gilt throughout (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
