    Description

This is an antique copper stamp for producing batik fabrics or wallpaper.  The stamp is made of mixed metals and has a surface measuring 7.5 by 6" in a diagonal.  The back of it has a sturdy handle probably made of iron (magnetic), while the printing surface is made of copper (nonmagnetic).  The pattern is very intricate with large paisley shapes connected with pointed zigzags - please see the photos to appreciate.  The copper surface has a lovely shine.  The iron framework that holds the copper pattern is quite sturdy as built, but is misshapen at one end, as shown - this does not impact the stamp.  It stands about 4" high with the handle.
This is in excellent condition with just the one issue described above.  It is quite heavy, weighing about 2 and a half pounds, so I will ship it by USPS priority flat rate. With its lovely copper shine, it is quite decorative.  Please contact me for more information or photos.
