Antique Indonesian Indian, Thailand Howdah, Daybed, Kings Bed Carved Sofa Bench

Description

Vintage Indonesian / Balinese Daybed.
A lovely, hand made, hand carved day bed that I’ve had for many years.
The sides and back are balustraded, solid center might be Javanese, it has finials with an intricate hand carved base with reed work underneath.
Pillows/Pads not included.
It appears to be a wood like Teak
,
which was common for these types of beds, but one experienced guy mentioned it might
also
be
Mango, Acacia, or
Rosewood
because of the black and red.
So I can not guarantee the wood this item is made of. About 20 years ago I acquired it at an estate auction, and I have been unable to determine its exact age or history. I'm guessing it could be 100 years old or maybe more. This piece of art once had fitted seat cushions that I no longer have, but you could have made. It is in beautiful condition. Length is slightly shy of 7ft (6.92') x 2.5 ft wide x 2.44 ft tall (highest point). The pad area depth is 26.5". It has always been kept indoors. It’s not an outdoor piece (I had it on the patio to photograph only.)
This does not come apart like some do, so transport will have to be a freight carrier.
Local pickup in the GRANTS PASS, OREGON area,  or I’m flexible with you arranging your own freight pickup by carrier, (ie uship).  I can assist by palletizing the item for your carrier pickup.
No International Shipping as I am unable to do that kind of packaging for that kind of travel.
