Vintage Balinese Goddess Dewi Sri Bronze Statue. Nice aged verdigris patina. Hand formed into a mudra, she is standing upon a lotus cushion and surrounded by an intricate halo or aura.
Dewi Sri is the Balinese Hindu Goddess of agrarian culture. She is venerated by the Balinese to ensure an abundant rice harvest. Also called Cili or Rice Mother, one of the most important of all Balinese deities, she dominates over fertility and birth and is associated with The Goddess Lakshmi.
