Up for auction is this Collectible Pie Bird
Red, Bernie the Eagle
made by Boyd Crystal Art Glass
This majestic Eagle pie bird measures 4 ½” tall and has painted accents.
He is marked with the Diamond B on the front and is made of ceramic, not glass.  Boyd Glass started making pie birds in 1998 and began with Debbie the Duck.
They were not made at the Boyd factory; they were made offsite by another company.
The Boyd Factory and showroom closed in 2014.
