DenTone 5E3 Tube overdrive boost distortion pedal Mullard 12AU7 germanium turbo

Description

The DenTone 5E3 pedal re-imagined for 2021.   This is the prototype, and one of a very limited run.    The concept is to take the vintage Fender Champ and build it in pedal form.   Then, add a germanium transistor turbo boost onto the front end.    The three knobs, left to right, are the gain for the germanium boost, volume for the tube drive and gain for the tube drive.
Turn the germanium circuit down and the tube drive on low gain and you've got just a warm valve tone like a Champ turned up to 3.   Turn the tube gain up and you've got a dimed Champ.   Add the some or all of the germanium boost and you move into 50w Marshall territory!
Mullard 12AU7 supplies the power (it takes a few seconds to warm up, just like a tube amp).   True bypass switching, vintage carbon comp resistors, NOS capacitors, cloth covered wire and all hand built in a point to point manner.    No battery option, but this can be powered by your standard Boss style center negative 9v DC power supply.
