In 1672, it took part, sided by 77 vessels, under De Ruyter’s Command, on board of the admiral-ship “ZEVEN-PROVINCIEN” in the battle of Solebay with the allied Anglo-French forces. The reconstruction has been carried out on the ground of a reliable Dutch documentation. Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcrafted this highly detailed, quality wood model from scratch.  It is built to scale with high-grade materials such as woods like western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. This ship was 100% hand built using plank-on-frame construction method that is similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.
