GREAT BRITAIN-MEDAL 1914-1918 George V 36mm 29.3 grams Silver war medal.
Awarded after the end of World war I to soldiers, officers and men within the British and Imperial forces for their service during  First World War.
The medal is heavy and has a silver composition and still has the original ribbon.
It is edge engraved with the name and position of the person who received this award. #28462 PETE HEELEY
This medal has a wonderful original dark patina and shows very little wear.
The obverse of the medal features a soldier on his horse triumphant over the grave of his enemy with sword in hand along with the skull and crossbones.   The dates 1914 - 1918. To signify the beginning and end dates of the first world war
