Handbuilt model of the the ship The Flying Cloud in a handmade case. The display case needs some attention to detail. The model needs one lattice piece glued back in place (see photo). This model is made of plastic and wood. The base is covered in felt. The builder is unknown. In its glass case it measures 8" in length by 3.5" wide and 6.5" in height. The ship itself measures 7" in length by 2" wide and 5" in height. It comes from the collection of naval historian of James Bloom of Washington, D.C. See my other auctions for high-end ship models.
