The Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1 oz Proof coin is a unique product that remembers and pays tribute to the 70th anniversary of the reign Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II was born on 21 April 1926 and died on 8 September 2022. A platinum jubilee was celebrated in 2022.
The reverse features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with the inscription 'ELIZABETH REGINA' and information on the Queen's date of birth and death '1926-2022'. The reverse was created by John Bergdahl and the Royal Mint. The obverse shows for the first time, the effigy of King Charles III as well as information on the face value and year of issue of the coin. The obverse was designed by Martin Jennings.
