    Very Nice, Scarce, Fancy Large Vintage Catholic MEMBERSHIP RIBBON, BIDDEFORD, MAINE, "Societie Des Dames Sainte Anne"
    DESCRIPTION:
    Scans show it all. Nice large, very fancy vintage
    membership ribbon from Biddeford, Maine. Consists of a long fancy BEAUTIFUL light purple satin ribbon, with a metallic pin bar at the top and fancy gold twisted fringe at the bottom. Printed in gold on the ribbon is "Societe Des Dames De Sainte Anne, Parish St. Andre, Biddeford, Maine". On the fancy celluloid drop hanging from the pin bar is a picture of 2 religious figures.
    ON THE REVERSE IS A SIMILAR BLACK RIBBON, WITH THE SAME INFORMATION. This side was used in the event of a death or funeral of a member or within the society.
    IN EXCELLENT CONDITION OVERALL. Measures about
    7" long and 2 1/4" wide.
    Would look nice matted and framed or just in a display or with a collection!!! Very nicely made and very handsome, especially with the purple ribbon.
