This is a strikingly beautiful pendant medal of Our Lord Jesus. It depicts Christ during the Passion.
The medal has incredible detail. The bust image of Christ with the Crown of Thorns, and the expression on Our Lord's Face make this such a moving item.
The medal measures 1-1/8 inch in diameter and weighs a hefty 12.7 grams of sterling silver.
On the reverse is an inscription that reads 'TO A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE THE BOYS 6-23-76". The inscription adds to the history and importance of this special medal. It is also marked STERLING M.DE JEAN.
The condition of the medal is very good with super detail and light wear and aging.
