    This listing is for a gorgeous hand painted tie in a Japanesque style decorated with 2 birds sitting in the leaves of a tree on a maroon background. It is signed on the end in Japanese by the artist.
    This new old stock Countess Mara 100% silk tie from the 1980s that still has the original tags. This was made in the USA with imported silk.
    This tie measures 3 1/2” across at its widest and 54" in length
    This is one of about 75 Countess Mara Silk Ties that I'll be listing on eBay over the next few weeks.This tie has been well stored since the 1980s and is in excellent unworn condition.
    There are 2 sewn-in tags. One says "THE WARA 75 - COUNTESS MARA - NEW YORK" and the other says "BURKHARDT'S FINE STORES FOR MEN", which was a men's clothing store in Cincinnati, Ohio from where my grandfather purchased this tie in the 1980s.
