Guitar amplifier capacitor kit will refurbish your vintage Fender Blackface or Silverface Bassman. Amplifier techs know that the electrolytic caps in your vintage amplifier should be replaced at least every 10 yrs. The electrolytic in the caps eventually dry out and lose their ability to effectively do their job. This kit includes all highest-quality new German made F&T electrolytic capacitors.
Fischer & Tauscher (F&T) have been manufacturing high quality capacitors in Germany since 1948.
The filter caps for the power supply in these kits are German made F&T caps (Fischer & Tausche – F&T have been making premium caps since the 40’s).  We have discovered that – as far as power filters go –  these caps are electronically superior to the popular Sprague Atoms (my old favorites, and still great caps).  They have more accurate capacitance readings and consistently lower ESR (equivalent series resistance). Low ESR facilitates a more efficient & accurate circuit, enabling more efficient circuit function.  As power filters, F&Ts perform

in vintage Fenders.
The cathode bypass caps in these kits are all Sprague Atoms, made in the USA.  These little guys do a great job in the preamp, allowing full, musical operating parameters for your preamp tubes.
