This listing is for a NEW WITH TAGS vintage 1980s gorgeous tie with hand painted Insects in a Japanesque style on a Blue/Gray background. It is signed on the end in Japanese by the artist.
This new old stock Countess Mara 100% silk tie from the 1980s still has the original tags. This was made in the USA with imported silk.
This tie measures 3 3/8” across at its widest and 53" in length

There are 2 sewn-in tags. One says "THE WARA 75 - COUNTESS MARA - NEW YORK" and the other says "BURKHARDT'S FINE STORES FOR MEN", which was a men's clothing store in Cincinnati, Ohio from where my grandfather purchased this tie in the 1980s.
