You can choose the 5 resistors between the following values:
1M2 1,2M 1,2 Meg
1M5 1,5M 1.5 Meg
2M2 1,2M 2.2 Meg
3M3 3,3M 3.3 Meg
5M6 5,6M 5.6 Meg
1,2M can be used instead the 1M in the input circuit, the value of this resistors goes in parallel with the resistence of the pickup coil of the guitar, so using 1,2M instead 1M affects the sound minimally.
Remember that in TUBE CIRCUITS is ALWAYS BETTER use BIGGER RESISTORS instead the standard 1/2W. Why doing so you reduce the noise. If you need info on this matter, go on the AIKEN AMP website and look for the article about the resistor noise.
Infact, when using CARBON FILM or CARBON COMPOSITION resistors in critical points like the first tube stage, if you use a 1W or 2W resistor instead the standard 1/2W, your amplifier will sound BETTER, expecially the MARSHALLS, where you have a very high high gain, and all the noise of the first stage is amplified a lot
.
These Iskra resistors are the old yellow ones. Simply among the BEST SOUNDING carbon film resistors ever made, They was the ORIGINAL RESISTORS used in the early Marshall amps from the '60/70.
