The Chicago Centennial Jubilee of 1903 was the 100-year anniversary of Fort Dearborn, built on the site that would become the great city. This medal was struck as a souvenir of the week-long event, featuring fireworks, civic meetings, speeches, a Native American encampment, reenactment of the storming of Fort Dearborn, and a reproduction of the city's first railway station and locomotive. This medal souvenir measures 1 3/8" by 2 1/4" featuring a nice image of Fort Dearborn on the front with an eagle straddled on top. This badge is in excellent condition with some light handling wear
