Rare Catholic Polish American Relgious Ribbon Medal C 1900 Honoring St.Joseph

Pictured here is a stunning Polish American Religious ribbon medal honoring St Joseph. Note the American and Polish flags crossed at the top and the location of the Church being in South Bend, Indiana where there has always been a large community of Polish Catholics. The ribbon is in mint condition, obviously cherished, and dates to the early 1900's. It is double sided with the front side having a pin at the top with a beautiful celluloid insert of a Sainted Bishop, (Wojciech?) and a celluloid medal in the center showing St. Joseph with an infant, probably Jesus. The translation under the medal reads, “St. Joseph Guardian of Youth.” The back side is black with silver printing and a beautiful print of a cross with a laurel wreath. The trim and tassels are made of a metal material and are perfection. This is a very rare collectible item, especially in this condition. Please enjoy the photos for the best look.
