The Child Jesus & a Lamb Holy Medal by Becker and A. Penin Catholic France

A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' but vintage holy medal featuring the Child Jesus tending a lamb.  The back side is beautiful and is suitable for engraving. 4 grams.  3/4 inch in diameter.  By Edmond-Henri Becker and struck at the renowned Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France. The medal appears to be about equal parts silver and possibly two or three alloys. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1965 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions from France.  Can be buffed up beautifully if desired.  Please see my other listings.
