St Andrew Medal on 24" Continuous Neckchain
Nicely detailed nickel silver holy medal from Italy has St Andrew holding up his "x-shaped" cross; the medal is about 7/8" tall, oval, and has a beautiful updated image of St Andrew and a nice shine.  The reverse of the medal has the words "Pray for Us" in large block letters and a smaller "Italy".  The medal comes securely attached to a 24" continuous stainless steel neck chain which is long enough to fit easily over most heads although if your head is extra large you may want to measure first.  Nice length for the guys and no clasp to worry about coming apart.  Comes Gift boxed with a gift bag and tissue paper and St Andrew prayer card.
St Andrew was a fisherman before being chosen by Jesus to become one of the Twelve Apostles.  He is the patron saint of fisherman, anglers, and fish dealers.  He is also the patron saint of single women, women who want to become mothers, and singers.  He is asked for special help in curing gout and sore throat.  He is the patron of several countries including Greece, Russia and Scotland.
