    USS George Washington: This fine fighting carrier was commissioned on the 4th of July in 1992 and was on active duty with the Pacific Fleet. However, she is receiving a major overhaul at Newport News starting 4 August 2017. USS Ronald Reagan took her, forward deployed position, in Japan in 2015.
