    on cachet #1364 by Alvin Eckert USCS #9964.
    Cover franked with a 15 cent Vietnam Campaign Ribbon stamp #1802 on a 55 cent
    flag stamped envelope # U-700 (FDOI).
    Cover with a DIY matte and 5x7 frame, makes a fine gift!
    USS Kearsarge, this proud Essex Class carrier served in WW II,
    Korea and made five deployments to Vietnam waters. The vessel mainly
    served in the Pacific in and was decommissioned in 1970. She earned seven
    Vietnam War Campaign Stars.
