    Description

    A Marshall Hall printed cacheted cover hand cancelled aboard the US Navy aircraft carrier USS LEXINGTON CV-2 during aerial maneuvers on May 20, 1935. The ship was sunk on May 8, 1942 during the Battle of the Coral Sea.
    The rear flap is
    sealed. There are no postal markings on the rear.  There is toning on the gum lines on the back.
