    USS OHIO SSGN-726, Offered is a naval cover for the 560' Ohio Class
    guided missile submarine. Cover postmarked first day of issue at Kansas City, MO
    on January 27, 2019. Color photo of submarine printed on cachet #9452
    by Alvin Eckert, USCS #9964.
    This fine fighting vessel was converted in 2003-2006 from a strategic missile
    platform to a cruise missile battery/special forces transport role, in the
    transformational Navy of the post 9/11 era. She is based at Bangor,
    Washington for Pacific Fleet duty, into 2020.
    Cover franked with 55 cent Flag stamp (FDOI) and a 13 cent Ohio State Flag stamp.
