Vintage 1936 Yacht Club Trophy

Description

Aluminum trophy platter made by the oldest Forge in America-Wendell August Forge. Makers Mark on back, “Wendell August Forge 402” with symbol. Front of platter reads: “Devon Yacht Club 1936 Invitation Race”. Condition consistent with age but very good.
Circa 1935/36.
Measures 28 ¾ inches wide by 17 ½ inches high.
