    Description

Vintage 1940's-1950's Minneapolis Aquatennial Vice Chairman Felt Patch
Very nice used soft felt patch measuring approx. 5.25" by 4". Red, white and blue decoration with a chain type stitch sewing of the center iconic sailboat.
Believed to be vintage late 1940's or early1950's due to research. "
The Aquatennial is the official civic celebration of Minneapolis which is held annually during the third full week of July. Originating in 1940, the outdoor festival celebrates the famous waters of Minneapolis —the lakes, streams, and the Mississippi.

Overall really very nice I believe and showing a clean item for the age. A great display framed or even used again as intended. Fun Minnesota historical piece.
