Up for auction is this Collectible Pie Bird
2 piece Kissy Lips in Blue
made by Frank Miller
The total measurement for this 2-piece funnel is: 5 ¾” (base: 1-7/8 * bird: 5 ¼”, with a 1" peg).  It is marked: F 95.  You can find similar pie bird pictured in Linda Fields book, "Four & Twenty Blackbirds" volume 2, pages 65.  Please note that there is a nick on the base rim – see photos.
There is some light crazing.

HOW TO USE
The pie is baked using the bird (top piece), when the pie is being served and the bird needs to be removed -- set it in the base.  No mess on the table!  The base also helps to display the bird -- it's not very sturdy when standing alone.
