    Description

    This is a 50's Masco 2-tone Guitar Amp Model MU-17 made by Mark Simpson Man. Long Island City, NY.  S/N 030-0742      Measures 18" x 16" x 9".   It has a 12" inch speaker- Code 285310 which I think means it's a Rola made in Nov 1953?    It has 4 inputs and chicken-head knobs. Tubes are 2-12AX7's, 2 -6L6's, and a 5Y3GT rectifier. Appears all original. This thing screams! Super for harp, slide guitar, etc.  Vol, tone pots scratchy when turning but fine when set. Loud little sucker!
