Vintage Antique Bali Balinese Snake Handle Basket Wrapped Teapot Primitive

Description

Up for bids is this vintage or antique Balinese basket wrapped teapot. 8.5 inches tall. It is made of black pottery. I did not find any chips or cracks, but it is difficult to ascertain what is going on underneath the basket weave. It needs a good cleaning and has some paint transfer from rubbing against things and a sloppy painter. The basket weave has some wear but is in overall good condition.
