Vintage Balinese Klungkung Hardwood Carving of a Female Nude

Description

Mid-20th century original Balinese Hardwood Carving of a Female Nude. Beautifully carved from one solid  block as a young woman kneeling  on an oval plinth base, her long hair cascading down her shoulder. Incised under base " Klungkung, Bali "
Height 13 1/2 inches; Width 10  3/4 inches . Weight  aprox. 10 lbs.
Original patina with varied natural colors to wood grain. Some fading to wood surface on backside of base probably due to sun exposure. Three small crack/ fissures on back side of base visible in photos  # 8, 10 and 11. Tropical  woods are sensitive to seasonal temperature change. Please see all photos for full description.
